Laurie P. McCullough

Vice President for Strategic Initiativesnone

Laurie McCullough is responsible for leading William Peace University's Professional Studies program and executing strategic initiatives by developing plans for new institutional opportunities and growth. Additionally, she is improving current processes, working with leadership and various other teams to execute planned initiatives while establishing and cultivating key institutional relationships.

She also serves on the university's senior cabinet creating institutional goals, priorities and policies.

She has more than 30 years of experience in higher education administration and teaching. Before coming to WPU, McCullough worked as the Dean of Graduate and Professional Studies at Nichols College in Dudley, MA. She also served as the Director of Online Programs there.

McCullough also held the rank of Associate Professor of Information Systems Technology at Northern Virginia Community College for 25 years.

She holds a BSBA and an MS in Information Systems Technology from George Washington University.


Frank Rizzo

Vice President for Student Servicesnone

Frank Rizzo is the university's Chief Student Services Officer overseeing the areas of residence life, student activities, leadership development, the Summer Pacer Camp, fall orientation, student government, judicial affairs, student health, counseling, community involvement, spiritual life and athletics.

He also serves on the university's senior cabinet creating institutional goals, priorities and policies.

Rizzo boasts a versatile background comprising the establishing of a strong track record of upward mobility in student development in addition to community outreach and donor cultivation.

He served as an Associate Vice President and Dean for Student Development at Marymount University in Arlington, VA prior to coming to William Peace University.  He was responsible for leading key student development areas and working closely with the university on developing and maintaining a vibrant, student-centered living and learning environment.

Rizzo holds an undergraduate degree in Finance and a graduate degree in Education, Counseling and Personnel Services from Fordham University.


Justin G. Roy

Vice President for Enrollment and Marketing
Justin G. Roy is responsible for overseeing multiple departments, including Admissions (day and School of Professional Studies), Financial Aid, Telecounseling, Records and Reports, Welcome Center, Communications and Marketing, Public Relations, and Sports Information. His office has successfully rebranded all publications including admissions and enrollment materials, advertising, internal campus communications and newsletters, press releases and electronic publications.

He also serves on the university's senior cabinet creating institutional goals, priorities and policy while implementing and assessing innovative university communication and branding campaigns.

Roy has extensive experience working with local and national brands on their social and new media and integrated marketing strategies. He also teaches courses on how professionals and brands can build and maintain their online reputation through the use of social media platforms such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter and Blogging. Roy previously served as the Director of Social Media at Nichols College in Dudley, MA. He was also JG Social Media's Chief Executive Officer and served as Chief Operating and Marketing Officer for SullivanKreiss, a management consulting firm, for more than five years, creating marketing strategies and developing online presence.

Roy is the recipient of a 2012 International Brand Master Award, the 2004 Crown and Shield Award for his civic and global service and leadership and has started three nonprofit organizations.

He holds an undergraduate degree in International Business from Assumption College based in Worcester, MA.


George A. "Rocky" Yearwood

Vice President for Administration and Chief Financial Officernone

Rocky Yearwood is responsible for the university's finances and administration including the controller's office, the university bookstore, facilities, human resources, public safety and food services.

He also serves on the university's senior cabinet creating institutional goals, priorities and policies.

Yearwood brings 30 years of experience as a business officer that encompasses financial planning, analysis, operations and compliance. Prior to arriving at WPU, he was the Associate Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at the University of Central Florida Foundation overseeing a $150 million investment program and $75 million real estate portfolio.

He is an active Certified Public Accountant holding Business Administration undergraduate and graduate degrees from the University of Central Florida and St. Leo's University, respectively.


Joshua Frank

Chief Informational Officernone

Joshua Frank is responsible for overseeing the University's IT infrastructure, including wired and wireless network infrastructure, internet connection, phone and voicemail system, security technologies, physical and virtual server maintenance, and data and server backup systems.

Frank has more than 10 years experience in information technology, having previously served as an operations officer at GTech Networks in Hampton, VA, network manager at Virginia Military Institute, and systems administrator at the Wake County Register of Deeds.

Frank graduated from Virginia Military Institute with a Bachelor of Science in computer science.

He is an organizer of the annual SparkCon creative conference in Raleigh, as well as a volunteer with Visual Art Exchange.


Amber Kimball, SPHR, SHRM-SCP

noneAssociate Vice President for Human Resources, Chief Human Resources Officer

Amber Kimball serves as the key human resources and payroll operations leader for the University and provides strategic leadership in planning and implementing quality-based, mission-focused human resources programs for all faculty and staff.  She continually improves human resources systems and ensures the delivery of high quality services to faculty and staff in a manner consistent with the vision, mission and values of the University, as well as, serves as the EEO/ADA Officer for employees and the Title IX Committee Chair. Kimball is responsible for managing and overseeing University employee and labor relations, compensation and benefits, workforce planning and employment, human resources management and strategy; policy analysis, development, and implementation; training and development, risk management and compliance, and payroll management.

Kimball brings more than 15 years of professional experience, including 12 having served as Human Resources Manager, Business Officer, and HR Facilitator at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill; HR Technician for Onslow County, and HR and regional HR consultant for Stantec Consulting Inc. of Raleigh. Additionally, she has held positions in accounting and hospital administration.

Kimball earned her Bachelor of Arts in management and society (formerly known as industrial relations) at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and holds the Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification. In addition, she earned a Certificate of Continuing Education in The Basics of Human Resources Law from the Rockhurst University Continuing Education Center, and also holds an Emergency Management Institute Certificate from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (FEMA).

She is an active member of CUPA (College and University Professional Association for Human Resources), its state division, NCCUPA, and SHRM (Society for Human Resources). Her volunteer efforts include Swim for MS, the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure, and Triangle Heart Walk.
