Laurie Albert

Vice President for Strategic Initiativesnone

Laurie Albert is responsible for leading William Peace University's Professional Studies program and executing strategic initiatives by developing plans for new institutional opportunities and growth. Additionally, she is improving current processes, working with leadership and various other teams to execute planned initiatives while establishing and cultivating key institutional relationships.

She also serves on the university's senior cabinet creating institutional goals, priorities and policies.

She has more than 30 years of experience in higher education administration and teaching. Before coming to WPU, Albert worked as the Dean of Graduate and Professional Studies at Nichols College in Dudley, MA. She also served as the Director of Online Programs there.

Albert also held the rank of Associate Professor of Information Systems Technology at Northern Virginia Community College for 25 years.

She holds a BSBA and an MS in Information Systems Technology from George Washington University.

 

Julie Ricciardi

Vice President for Engagementnone

Julie Ricciardi leads William Peace University's Development and Alumni Affairs team, where she manages all fundraising initiatives including the Capital campaigns and the Loyalty Fund.

She also serves on the university's senior cabinet creating institutional goals, priorities and policies.

Additionally, she teaches music at the university and leads the William Peace University Singers, who are well known locally for their ambassadorship and connecting with the community on a higher level.

Ricciardi was the Director of the Musical Organizations Club at Purdue University for nine years, prior to joining WPU. While there, she coordinated and facilitated the club's fundraising events and campaigns, successfully securing close to $5 million in gifts and pledges.

She holds an undergraduate degree in elementary education from Purdue University and has taught at an elementary school.

 

Dr.Cindy Gnadinger

Vice President for Academic Affairsnone

Dr.Cindy Gnadinger contributes to maintaining the standards set for accreditation and plays a central role in the university’s faculty recruitment, promotion and professional development. 

She also serves on the university's senior cabinet creating institutional goals, priorities and policies, leading faculty, and implementing and assessing an innovative curriculum.

Before coming to WPU, Gnadinger served as assistant vice president for academic affairs and dean of the school of education at Bellarmine University, an independent Catholic institution of higher learning based in Louisville, Kentucky.

Her awards and recognitions include a 2013 Fulbright and a national appointment  with the American Association of Colleges for Teacher Education’s Leadership Faculty from 2010-2013.  She also serves as an accreditation reviewer with the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges.

Gnadinger holds a BS in elementary education from Western Kentucky University, a Masters of Education in early education and a Doctorate in supervision of instruction from the University of Louisville. 

 

Frank Rizzo

Vice President for Student Servicesnone

Frank Rizzo is the university's Chief Student Services Officer overseeing the areas of residence life, student activities, leadership development, the Summer Pacer Camp, fall orientation, student government, judicial affairs, student health, counseling, community involvement, spiritual life and athletics.

He also serves on the university's senior cabinet creating institutional goals, priorities and policies.

Rizzo boasts a versatile background comprising the establishing of a strong track record of upward mobility in student development in addition to community outreach and donor cultivation.

He served as an Associate Vice President and Dean for Student Development at Marymount University in Arlington, VA prior to coming to William Peace University.  He was responsible for leading key student development areas and working closely with the university on developing and maintaining a vibrant, student-centered living and learning environment.

Rizzo holds an undergraduate degree in Finance and a graduate degree in Education, Counseling and Personnel Services from Fordham University.

 

Justin G. Roy

Interim Vice President for Enrollment and Marketing

Justin G. Roy oversees all of the university's communications and marketing efforts. His office has successfully rebranded all publications including admissions and enrollment materials, advertising, internal campus communications and newsletters, press releases and electronic publications.

He also serves on the university's senior cabinet creating institutional goals, priorities and policy while implementing and assessing innovative university communication and branding campaigns.

Roy has extensive experience working with local and national brands on their social and new media and integrated marketing strategies. He also teaches courses on how professionals and brands can build and maintain their online reputation through the use of social media platforms such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter and Blogging. Roy previously served as the Director of Social Media at Nichols College in Dudley, MA. He was also JG Social Media's Chief Executive Officer and served as Chief Operating and Marketing Officer for SullivanKreiss, a management consulting firm, for more than five years, creating marketing strategies and developing online presences.

Roy is the recipient of the 2004 Crown and Shield Award for his civic and global service and leadership and has started three nonprofit organizations.

He holds an undergraduate degree in International Business from Assumption College based in Worcester, MA.

 

George A. "Rocky" Yearwood

Vice President for Administration and Chief Financial Officernone

Rocky Yearwood is responsible for the university's finances and administration including the controller's office, the university bookstore, facilities, human resources, public safety and food services.

He also serves on the university's senior cabinet creating institutional goals, priorities and policies.

Yearwood brings 30 years of experience as a business officer that encompasses financial planning, analysis, operations and compliance. Prior to arriving at WPU, he was the Associate Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at the University of Central Florida Foundation overseeing a $150 million investment program and $75 million real estate portfolio.

He is an active Certified Public Accountant holding Business Administration undergraduate and graduate degrees from the University of Central Florida and St. Leo's University, respectively.
