Emergency Response and Evacuation Procedures
The Crisis Management Plan contains basic protocols and guidelines for William Peace University to follow in the event of a campus emergency. The plan is designed to assist in effectively and efficiently managing a crisis and its aftermath. We are in the process of updating this plan, and will post the new documents as appropriate.
Timely Warning Reports and Policy
The President or his/her designee is responsible for issuing timely warnings in compliance with the Jeanne Clery Act, 20 U.S.C. § 1092(f) et seq.
Security Report-Missing Person Notification Policy
This procedure includes the investigation into the whereabouts of the missing students who reside in on-campus student housing facilities and the notification of designated individuals as outlined and proscribed by the H.E.O.A. (Higher Education Opportunity Act).
Information for Crime Victims about Discrepancy Proceedings
Upon written request, William Peace University will disclose to the alleged victim of any crime of violence or a non-forcible sex offense the results of any disciplinary proceeding conducted by the institution against a student who is the alleged perpetrator of such crime or offense. If the alleged victim is deceased as a result of the crime or offense, the information shall be provided, upon request, to the next of kin of the alleged victim. This provision applies to any disciplinary proceeding conducted by William Peace University on or after August 14, 2009.
