English
English majors use analytical approaches to examine language, literature, cultural studies and writing. Critical thinking and analytical skills are developed as one focuses on the comprehension and interpretation of language and expressing one's ideas, both verbally and in written form. Graduates go on to various careers in areas such as journalism, technical writing, advertising copy writing and public relations.
