Religion
Religion plays a central role in virtually every aspect of human society around the globe. It is not possible to understand today's pluralistic and interconnected world without knowledge of the religious traditions that lie at the foundation of distinctive cultural outlooks worldwide. Our Religion curriculum offers WPU students the opportunity to explore the histories, texts and practices of many of the world's religious communities and to consider both the profound ways in which religion has worked historically and how it continues to inform and affect the cultural, political, and ethical debates of the current moment.
Religion is offered as a stand alone minor or as a minor or concentration in the Liberal Studies Major.
