Help Plan Your Reunion
Homecoming, regional chapter reunions and special class reunions are a time to reconnect and reminisce with your former classmates.
We are calling on you to help mobilize your class members to yield high participation at such events. Such reunion planning committees are made up by a dedicated and enthusiastic set of champions of Peace. By volunteering to help plan your reunion, you directly help strengthen your alma mater.
The key to a successful and unforgettable reunion starts with the attendees. No one knows your class better than you. So, acting as a liaison between your class and the Engagement Office is crucial. We want members of your class to be excited NOW about Homecoming in October--and you will help make this happen. Efforts including phone calls, emails, and personal visits aim to generate excitement, registration, and giving participation in The Loyalty Fund (the university's annual fund).
As Peace continues to grow, so does our alumni base. That growth challenges us to make the changes necessary to meet the needs of a larger, more diverse population. The university is also challenged to change in order to "keep up" with a growing alumni constituency. We consistently count on the hard work and effort of our reunion committees to bridge the gap between the university and our expansive alumni population. Not only do you keep the university informed of your classmates' activities, but you help to keep your classmates informed of the activities occurring on campus.
Your attendance at Homecoming as well as a special gift to the William Peace University Loyalty Fund (in honor of your reunion year) will truly make a positive impact on campus. Your gifts to The Loyalty Fund help provide student scholarships, scientific equipment, student organization and activities support, technology upgrades, Peace Pacer Athletics needs, internship opportunities, faculty development, student housing, cultural programming and so much more.
Please consider becoming a Reunion Ambassador for Peace.
