About the Library

Library Access

As a private college library, the Lucy Cooper Finch Library's primary patrons are the students, faculty and staff of Peace College. Priority in use of services, resources and facilities is given to these primary patrons.

Members of the community are permitted to use the library facilities between 8:00 am and 7:00 pm from Monday to Friday, as long as such use does not detract from service to the students, faculty and staff of Peace College.

Food and Drink Policy

Food and beverages are allowed in the library with some exceptions.

Beverages must be in covered containers (e.g. coffee cups with lids, soda & water bottles with caps).

Food that does not require a fork, spoon or knife is allowed in the library (e.g. pretzels, sandwiches, granola bars). Food requiring utensils must be consumed in the Peace Perk area or outside the library.
