REMINDER: Procedure for all medical emergencies
As a reminder, all employees please be aware of these guidelines for handling medical emergencies:
DO NOT DELAY
1. Call 911. Calmly state the nature and location of the emergency. Give as many details as possible. Remember in-house phones require that you dial 9 first to get an outside line.
2. Call Health Services at 508-2502 or 508-2498.
3. Call security and alert them to expect and guide the ambulance and EMS staff to the reported scene of emergency. Someone should always stay with the patient, preferably someone with First Aid and CPR/AED experience.
