About Advising
William Peace University maintains a strong academic advising program that promotes a close mentoring and academic relationship between its advisors and student advisees. Advisors assist the student in developing an academic and co-curricular program that blends strengths, talents and interests, meeting with students each semester to monitor academic performance and progress in meeting graduation requirements, assist with registration, and aid in career planning. While the advisor plays an important role as a helper and guide, the student is ultimately responsible for ensuring that she is meeting the requirements for graduation or for a pre-professional program.
Advisors are knowledgeable of all academic requirements, maintain frequent contact with their advisees and act as liaisons between the student and the campus support personnel.
Outstanding Academic Advising is essential to the fulfillment of the mission of William Peace University.
