Peace hosting Education accreditation team today, tomorrow
A team from the N.C. Department of Public Instruction will be on campus today and tomorrow to review Peace’s teacher education program. The team will be looking at the College’s documentation of the education program and will be meeting with a number of faculty, administrators and students. Please help welcome our guests and provide them with any assistance they may ask for. 

 

Study abroad representative on campus today
Mark Simmons, London program director from Central College Abroad will visit Peace today. Simmons will meet with Peace professors and in classes and will be available to speak personally with students in Belk Dining Hall from 11:30 a.m. until 1 p.m. In addition to the unique opportunity to hear first-hand about the London program, there will be information on all of Central College Abroad programs, as well as the application process, scholarships, internships, and service learning.  Find out why Central College Abroad is consistently recognized in the U.S. News and World Report. Peace  College Theatre's 'idiots' return
Peace College Theatre will present its comedy show "Revenge of the Idiots" starting Wednesday and running through Saturday. The improvisational comedy show was a big hit last year. Plan to join in on the fun! More information and online ticket purchases are available at theatre.peace.edu.

 

Mark calendars for April 26 chamber music concert
The last installment of this year’s Manning Chamber Music Concert series will take place next Monday. The concert will feature musicians from the N.C. Symphony. It’s free, and open to the public.
 

 

Peace community invited to farmers’ market opening April 28
The Downtown Raleigh Alliance is inviting members of the Peace community to the opening of downtown Raleigh’s newest farmers market. The market is being relocated from Moore Square to the City Plaza at the 500 block of Fayetteville Street. The market hours will be Wednesdays, 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. The opening ceremony will begin at 11 a.m. on April 28. Pitmaster Ed Mitchell will do a demonstration at 12:30.
