Courtney Hirsch leaving Peace
Julie Ricciardi shares this announcement:  It's with mixed emotions that I announce Director of The Loyalty Fund, Courtney Hirsch's, last official day of work will be Wednesday, May 19th. Courtney has been a huge part of our Development team leading the fundraising efforts across campus as well as on the road and joyful fixture on Peace's campus for the past several years and she will begin a new adventure as she takes on a new and leading role as "mom and cheerleader" for her newest arrival, little baby Jacob Hirsch! We wanted you to know so you might take the opportunity say come by this week and say hi. Courtney will be in today through Wednesday. We know you will miss her welcoming smile and generous spirit as much as we will! 

Employee lunch on Thursday
The first of the summer’s faculty/staff lunches will be held on Thursday. The theme for the event is “Poultry in Motion,” with fried chicken and poultry poems on the menu. The chicken, drinks and paper products will be supplied. Each employee is asked to bring a side dish – a vegetable dish, salad or dessert – to share. The lunch is also going to include a “Chicken Poetry Contest.” First-, second- and third-place prizes will be awarded. The lunch will be held in Belk Dining Hall at noon. 

New Health/Safety option in SchoolDude
The Safety and Security Committee has created an icon in SchoolDude labeled “Health/Safety.” Please choose this icon when completing work orders related to health and safety. 

New budget available for review online
The 2010-2011 budget is now in Jenzabar and can be reviewed through https://my.peace.edu. Be sure to change the ‘year’ to ‘2010’ (which refers to 2010-2011) to access. This preliminary budget was approved by the Board of Trustees at its April meeting and is subject to change based on fall enrollment. The 210 restricted accounts will be loaded into Jenzabar after the current year closes to appropriately include carry forward amounts.
