Pacer Camp 2010 Hosts New Students and Familes

Nearly 160 new Peace students and their families participated in Pacer Camp, Peace's summer orientation program the past two weekends.

Pacer Camp, a two-day orientation, helps incoming students prepare for college life. During Pacer Camp, students spent time on campus meeting with advisors before heading off-campus to have more time with other new students, learn about opportunities for leadership and involvement at Peace, and learn more about Peace's deep history and strong traditions.

While students enjoyed their day at camp, parents had the opportunity to meet with College administrators, faculty, and staff, learn more about College services available to students, and hear of the many ways they can be involved at Peace.
