Access to People

A professional librarian can be reached any time of the day or night to assist you with finding and using library resources.  Finch Library staff are here nearly 90 hours per week in Fall/Spring and over 50 hours per week in the Summer.  We also provide access to librarians around the state 24/7 via online chat.  See our Help! page for options.

Access to Millions of Books

If there is a book you need for your research, chances are we can get it for you.  It may be in our collection, a nearby library's collection, or anywhere around the world.  See our Books page for options

Access to Millions of Articles

Need an article for a paper, but don't know where to start?  Try our databases which cover the vast majority of classes offered at Peace.  You can look through the list of high quality databases by topic or by name.  See our Articles page for options.

A Great Place to Be

Libraries today are much more than just collections of stuff.  We have comfortable seating and workspaces throughout the building and even a few rocking chairs on the porches.  Upstairs there are four study rooms where groups can work together undisturbed.  Each study room has a large table with several chairs, a whiteboard, and a TV with a DVD player.  Right inside the library entrance, Peace Perk is the place to go for great coffee, snacks, and a casual lounge with a TV.  We are also conveniently located on campus if you just need a place to hang out and unwind.

Technology

We have computers.  Lots of them.  Need a PC?  Need a Mac?  Need a laptop you can checkout?  We've got you covered.  We also provide printers, scanners, and copiers.  There is WIFI throughout the building so you can work where you want to.  The IT Help Desk is on the first floor and can help you with the library's computers and network services.  We also circulate portable DVD players, headphones, Kindles, and video cameras.

Late Hours

If you're awake, you can get help from Finch Library.  The building is open convenient hours and our online resources are available 24/7.  So if you need an article now, even if "now" means 3:00am, Finch Library is there for you.
