Fluency in Spanish and a thorough understanding of Latin American culture are important assets in today's job market. During the 1990s, the Hispanic population in North Carolina increased 400 percent, a growth rate projected to continue. Spanish language skills are becoming increasingly valuable in our interdependent economy and in our diverse culture.

As a Spanish major at Peace, you will work with award-winning professors, study abroad with scholarship assistance, participate in honors programs and graduate with marketable skills and professional contacts. Students in the program enjoy small class sizes and plenty of personal interaction with their professors, in a campus environment recognized in national surveys for the support it provides to students.
