What Can I Do With A Major In
Anthropology
Anthropology is the study of humanity. It's an interdisciplinary field with ties to the arts and sciences, providing a unique perspective on yourself and the world around you. The Anthropology major includes a strong emphasis on field based learning, providing opportunities for discovery. The anthropology major, offers five areas of concentration, including cultural anthropology, biological anthropology, archaeology, Latin American studies and forensics. The major also offers students the opportunity to participate in international travel to Mexico and to conduct field work at partner sites such as the Duke Primate Center.
