Academics
Academics at Peace
Nurturing dreams. That's what we do here at Peace College.
We do it in a supportive environment that allows you to explore your interests, develop your talents and engage yourself in learning that will prepare you for a life of meaning. We have worked to create a community built on respect for one another and appreciation for what each of us brings. We also have fun!
Collaborating with others in solving problems or mastering difficult material prepares students for the messy, unscripted problems they will encounter each day during -- and after -- college.
Peace College faculty members use techniques that go beyond lecture-based instruction and involve students more directly in their learning. It's a program that works. Peace College students report through surveys such as the National Survey of Student Engagement that their learning experiences are based on working with faculty members and peers on problem-solving and knowledge creation. It's an academic program that our students regularly rate as among the best among the 600-plus U.S. colleges and universities in the NSSE survey.
We invite you to explore these pages to learn more about what Peace's academic program offers to you.
