Piece Information:
I Never Said Cheese by Kimmie Grimes represents a day in the life of a `celebrity' caught in the constant mayhem of the paparazzi and the limelight.
Meg Hunt's I'm Done with Second Chances was made to help move on in life after great friendships are lost or torn apart by stupid things, and you have no where to go.
In the blur of our own personal worlds, we strive to have connections with other people. Sometimes our lives parallel someone else's; other times we are completely divided. Still we continue to search for a connection to rise above our Divided Parallel. This piece was created by Kimmie Grimes and Peace Alumna Stephani Paschall.
Barrett Wheeler specially choreographed Diamonds for Heather Finch's two recent pageants. Wheeler created the piece for the dancer to be in character and excite, yet play with the audience. So sit back and welcome to Moulin Rouge.
Kimmie Grimes' Affinity represents the struggle to find your identity and demonstrates how your connections with others can mold and shape your life.
Wonderwall by Tildsley Clifford does not have a singular meaning. She asks for those who witness this piece to come to their own conclusion of what a "Wonderwall" is.
Sophomore Stephanie Lilley's debut piece Held Together is a mix of modern and lyrical choreography and is a dedication to the friends that get her through every day. She and fellow choreographer, senior Tildsley Clifford, are very excited to introduce this piece!
Kimmie Grimes' Precious Quizzy: Reaching To Heaven is dedicated to the memory of her bunny, Quizzy who passed away in September from cancer.
Tildsley Clifford's I Am Fine... to the music "Colorblind" as covered by Natalie Walker centers around the idea that sometimes in life you get so busy that you never get a chance to stop and catch your breath and see the beautiful colors around you.
