Peace College Theatre offers women students an amazingly active and innovative program that features terrific opportunity for performance, contact with professionals, travel, internships, the creation of new works, and technical theatre experience.

 

A student can major in Communication and specialize in Theatre. A student can also obtain a minor in Theatre. Non-majors are encouraged to participate and join the Peace College Theatre Company.

 

Students who wish to pursue theatre as a career will find the Theatre Studies Track in Communication highly appealing. Focusing primarily on theatre, the Theatre Studies specialization offers students the opportunity to develop performance, communication and technical skills that prepare a student for production-related careers in stage, television or movies. Students who pursue Theatre Studies would also be well prepared for professional or graduate level training programs. Scholarships are available by audition. Typically, there are three major productions per school year and the production of a one-act play in the spring.
