RALEIGH (Nov. 15, 2007) - Peace College defeated Salem College on November 17 in the Championship Game of the 2007 Jackie Ammons Memorial Tournament to win the title (64-55). The Pacers advanced to the Championship game after defeating the Sharks of Simmons College 77-48 on November 16.

Junior local Brittany Lynn earned the Tournament MVP award and recorded her first career double-double at 13 points and 13 rebounds. Making the All-Tournament team was Junior Christy Freeman who recorded 2 steals, 1 field goal and 6 assists against Salem College.
