Betty Vaiden Wright Williams Christmas Concerts
Raleigh, NC (Nov. 26, 2007) -- The annual Betty Vaiden Wright Williams Christmas Concerts will take place on December 3 and 5 at 7 p.m. in Kenan Recital Hall on the Peace College campus.
The Peace College Chamber Singers and Choir, under the direction of James Smith, Associate Professor of Music, will present a variety of Christmas pieces, accompanied by a chamber orchestra. The Chamber Singers will also perform a cantata by John Rutter, "Dancing Day," featuring Anita Burroughs-Price, harpist with The North Carolina Symphony. Additionally, poet Sally Buckner, Professor Emerita of English, will read original Christmas poetry.
