Peace Strengthens: They knew I had it in me.

Outcomes of a Peace Education

We believe strongly in the advantages of a Peace College education and we have some impressive statistics to back up our beliefs.

  • Ninety-one percent (91%) of Peace College graduates complete their degree in four years.
  • Ninety-nine percent (99%) of 2007 Peace College graduates reported finding jobs within six months of graduation or were acceptance into graduate school.
  • Peace College consistently ranks in the top ten percent in the National Survey of Student Engagement (NSSE) in areas of Collaborative and Active Learning, Faculty-Student Interaction, Academic Rigor, Supportive Campus Environment and Enriching Educational Experience.
  • Additionally, our students are highly competitive academically with students from other colleges and universities. They've placed in the top four nationally in the Human Resources Games and each year complete research projects which are submitted to academic journals.
  • Our Psychology majors continue to uphold our mark of 100% acceptance for publication of all research papers presented at the National Conference on Undergraduate Research proceedings.
  • And for the past six years students in our Biology department have placed first or second in the North Carolina Academy of Science student research competition.
