The Peace College Chamber Singers and Choir will perform its Spring Concert on April 16 at 8 p.m. in Kenan Recital Hall on the Peace College campus. The Peace ensembles will be joined by N.C. State's male a cappella group, The Grains of Time. The combined groups will perform "Zadok the Priest" by Handel and two choruses from "Queen Mary's Birthday Ode" by Purcell. These two works will be accompanied by a chamber orchestra of strings, oboe, trumpet, and percussion. Also, both the Chamber Singers and The Grains of Time will perform selections from their own repertoires. The concert will end with three jazz numbers performed by both groups.
