UPDATED Chelsea Clinton Visits Peace on Monday
Chelsea Clinton, daughter of Sen. Hillary Clinton, candidate for the Democratic presidential nomination, will visit Peace College Monday at 1 p.m.
Ms. Clinton will meet with students in a question-and-answer format, giving students an opportunity to ask questions about the presidential race. The event will be held inside Belk Dining Hall.
Students, faculty and staff should be aware of the following arrangements to accommodate the event:
- Classes meeting at 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. will be canceled. Classes meeting at 3 p.m. and all other afternoon and evening classes will be held.
- The dining hall will open and close early for lunch, operating from 11:15 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. Breakfast and dinner will not be affected. To accommodate students who can't eat lunch during that time, extra sandwiches will be made available at Peace Perk. Students will be able to use their PacerCard meal plan to purchase the sandwiches.
- Access to the Ross parking lot and the Franklin Street entrance will be closed at 11:30 a.m.
- News media and additional security will require us to accommodate their use of some of our parking spaces, but we will work to minimize inconveniences.

- Event start time: 1 p.m. at Belk Dining Hall.
- Bring your PacerCard as a form of ID for entry to the event.
- The event is open to the public and the news media.
The college will use the Peace Inclement Weather Line - 508-2390 - to share updated information about the event on Monday, in addition to details to be posted here. Information also will be available at the college's main number, 508-2000.
