Peace College hosts Student Showcase
Peace College students will take a day off from classes on April 17 to participate in a daylong, campuswide "Student Showcase: A Celebration of Scholarship and Creativity" in which students will share with each other their academic and artistic accomplishments.
"Student Showcase" is an annual event at Peace which allows students and other members of the Peace community to experience the richness of students' endeavors. This is the fourth year of the event.
The "Student Showcase" will include research presentations, performances of music and dance, poetry readings and debates. Other highlights include student presentations of papers; cross-disciplinary creative projects and an Ethics Bowl debate.
A lunch on the Peace Green in front of Main Building will be accompanied by henna tattooing, Frisbee golf and other activities.
