Health Services
Health Services provides students with routine treatment for minor illnesses and injuries, maintains confidential medical information for students, and promotes awareness for health and wellness issues through campus events. Health Services is staffed by Nurse Mari Lippig, Director of Health Services, and the Wellness Center Service Coordinator. Dr. Anne Smithson, college physician, is also available Mondays 3 - 5 p.m. and Thursdays 1 - 3 p.m. The Peace College Health Services Office is located in Ross 114.

Health Services can also help with questions regarding all medical forms required for in-coming students. First-year and transfer students must have a complete physical exam and submit that along with a complete record of all required immunizations to Health Services. Please mail or fax your Medical History and Physical Exam (the blue form you received in the mail upon admission) to the following address:

North Carolina law requires proof of immunizations to protect students while at Peace College. Failure to provide proof of all the required immunizations within thirty days of enrollment will result in students being dropped from classes. Your student status cannot be restored until all necessary records are submitted to Health Services. For more information please visit www.cdc.gov/vaccines/pubs/pinkbook/default.htm
These immunizations must be on file prior to enrollment. If a student fails to submit her complete immunization record within thirty days after classes begin, she will not be allowed to continue attending classes until she submits the information.
