Counseling Services
The Counseling Center at Peace College offers professional counseling services to assist students as they cope with the challenges of college and strive to develop healthy relationships and live productive lives. Counselors Meredith Stokke, LPC, and Whitney Johnson, LPC, are available to help students deal with everyday problems related to college life as well as more serious psychological concerns such as depression and anxiety. The counselors can help obtain referrals to off-campus professionals as needed or requested.
Counseling Services are free of charge and include the following: individual short-term counseling; crisis intervention; consultation; resources and referrals; and outreach programming. Services are offered on a confidential basis in accordance with state and ethical guidelines.
The Counseling Center is located in the Wellness Center on the first floor of Ross Residence Hall. The Counseling Center offers a Walk-In Clinic for students who may have an immediate need or who are in crisis. No prior appointment is necessary.

E-mail is not an appropriate medium for urgent or emergency messages. The Counseling Center does not provide counseling through e-mail.
