Peace College Chamber Singers perform Tuesday
The Peace College Chamber Singers and Choir will present their annual Spring Concert on Tuesday evening at 7:30 p.m. in Kenan Recital Hall. The singers will be joined by The Grains of Time, an a cappella group from N.C. State. The combined groups will perform works by Mozart and Mendelssohn, accompanied by a 12-piece chamber orchestra. Additionally, the Chamber Singers and The Grains of Time will each perform selections from their repertoire, and the concert will end with both groups performing selections made popular by the Beatles. The concert is free. An outdoor reception will be held following the concert. 

Employee Recognition Day on Thursday … in Leggett
Employee Service Awards – Same time, same people, NEW PLACE!  Join us this Thursday in Leggett Theatre for the 2009 Employee Service Awards.  We’ll be celebrating our 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 35 and 40-year employees!  The wonderful Parents’ Council will be providing lunch on 2^nd Main!  It’ll be exciting! It’ll be a blast! Not to mention fun!!  Hope to see you there. 

Semi-annual Calendar Planning Meeting on Thursday
Please join your colleagues in our semi-annual calendar planning meeting on Thursday at 8:30 a.m., Williams Board Room. This meeting provides an opportunity for input and community approach to planning event dates for next year as well as future years. Please bring a list of events managed by your department or division so that all can learn what is being planned. Rebecca Leggett will also furnish a comprehensive list of all key event dates added to the calendar to this point.

Join big ‘Simon Says’ game on Tuesday
Simon says come on out for a chance to win a $100 Target gift card! President of LMTS, Mike Devine, will lead a campus game of Simon Says on Tuesday, April 28^th at 12:15pm in Belk Dining Hall. This is open to all students, faculty, and staff, and the game won’t be as easy as you think! At 12:30pm, business students will have a lunch discussion with Mr. Devine in the President’s Dining Room. If you would like to attend or have any students that should attend the lunch, please RSVP to Candice Johnston.  

Sam’s Club offering membership incentive
A representative from Sam’s Club will be on campus at Belk Hall from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday to assist you with new membership applications.  A $10 gift card will be included as a signing bonus.   Stop by and inquire about the advantages of membership and how to receive your gift card.
