Manning Chamber Music concert tonight
Peace hosts a special concert tonight: "Picasso's Musical Landscape." Musicians from the N.C. Symphony will join the Peace College Chamber Singers and Peace's Milton Laufer in performances of pieces by musicians who collaborated with the painter Pablo Picasso. Also, alumna Christian Sineath will appear to perform a duet with Jim Smith. The event, which is being held in conjunction with the Nasher Museum of Art’s Picasso exhibit, is free and open to the public. The concert begins at 7:30 p.m. in Kenan Recital Hall.
H1N1 vaccination clinic today
The Wellness Center is hosting a free vaccination clinic today where faculty and staff, in addition to students, may get a free H1N1 flu vaccination. The clinic will be held from 1 p.m. until 4 p.m. All major health insurance coverages are accepted. This is a walk-in clinic.

Faculty, staff invited to Holiday Wine Tasting event
All faculty and staff are invited to join the Alumnae Association in the upcoming Holiday Wine Tasting and Alumnae Boutique on Friday, December 4, in the Lucy Cooper Finch Library beginning at 7 pm. The event will include five tastings, two full pours, heavy hors d’oeuvres and holiday shopping with 13 alumnae* who own their own business or handcraft their own wares. Featured items include handcrafted soaps, boutique clothing, accessories, and jewelry, hand-knit baby items, paper crafts, gift items, and more! Faculty/staff and guest cost is $10 per person. Spring registration begins today
The registration period for spring 2010 begins today after being postponed while our ITT department works to address the problem with the folks who provide technical assistance for the portal. Please make note of the registration schedule below, and feel free to contact Jerry Nuesell (508-2314; Main 11) with any questions or concerns. Please make note of the fact that registration will begin each day promptly at 7 a.m.
