Members of the WPU Community are invited back to campus for a fun-filled, reunion and family weekend during Homecoming. Check out all that's going on and choose the events you will attend. Only some events require a fee. Or, come for the entire weekend!
Homecoming celebrations begin Friday evening with a President's Circle Society (members only) reception in Main Parlor at 5 p.m. Then, experience all that Broadway has to offer when "Broadway Comes to Peace" in a special concert featuring Broadway actress Erin Davie, Jason Dula and WPU's B.F.A. and B.A. majors in Kenan Hall at 7:30 p.m. (FREE ADMISSION).
On Saturday, experience the many campus-wide alumni and family activities, including:
* 8:30 a.m. - Athletic Hall of Fame Induction - $25 ea.
* 9:00 a.m. - 5K Turkey Trot - Free
* 10:30 a.m. - 50th Reunion, Class of 1962 Tea - $25 ea. (or free with PCS membership)
* 12:00 p.m. - Family Lunch - $10 ea.
* 1:00 p.m. - Shag & Wobble Lessons - Free
* 2:00 p.m. - Cornhole, Sand Volleyball, Kickball and more! - Free
* 2-4 p.m. - NC Museum Self-Guided Tourts - Free
* 3 p.m. - William Peace University Singers Homecoming Concert - Free
* 5:00 p.m. - Class-y Cocktails, Reunions & Pinning Ceremonies - $25 ea.
* 5:30 p.m. - Pacer Club Pre-view Tour of Hermann Center (members only) - Free
* 6:00 p.m. - Homecoming Celebration & Athletic Center Dedication - Free
* 6:30 p.m. - Homecoming Family Dinner & Dancing - $10 ea.
On Sunday, continue the fun and reunion experience with:
* 8:30 a.m. - Pre-Chapel Coffee - Free
* 9:00 a.m. - Chapel Service Celebrations & Memorials - Free
* 10:00 a.m. - Family Brunch - $10 ea.
* 12:30 p.m. - Omicron Delta Kappa Induction Ceremony - Free (Dinwiddie Chapel)
* 3:00 p.m. - Fall Carnival - Free
* 4:00 p.m. - Lil' Sibs Hay Rides- Free
