Get the facts!
The Office of Career Services invites WPU students to attend their Internship Information Sessions in Flowe Academic Building this fall.
This event is required for students who plan to intern in Spring 2016.
Get the facts on all the "how to's" concerning the Office of Career Services' Internship Program.
This includes how to register for an internship, how to find and get an internship site approved, and more!
In a competitive job market employers are looking for more than just education, they want hands-on experience, too. In fact, more than 60% of William Peace University graduates receive job offers from their internship experience. Finding the right internship as an undergraduate student can put you in a position to land the right job after graduation and Career Services can help. In addition to the mandatory internship required for each student, Career Services can also help students find additional internships to get you experience in your field.
Each William Peace University student is required to complete three credit hours through an internship in order to graduate. Students are allowed to begin internships starting second the semester of their junior year and after they have completed three courses in their major.
In addition, every student is required to attend an internship information session in which you will begin your registration and receive dates for deadlines and information needed to complete the internship requirement.
