Professional Development: Understanding and Using ACT in the Treatment of Eating Disorders

On Monday, January 20, 2014, join William Peace University and Eating Recovery Center for an educational, Winter Workshop offering four CE credit hours and an opportunity to network with fellow eating disorders treatment colleagues. The presentation will explore the use of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) in the treatment of eating disorders and will be led by experienced professionals, Emmett Bishop, MD, FAED, CEDS and Bonnie Brennan, MA, LPC. The workshop is appropriate for professionals of any discipline, and the presentation will describe the integration of ACT across a multi-disciplinary approach.
