100th Anniversary (1914-2014)
William Peace University is delighted to host the Triangle Omicron Delta Kappa Centennial Celebration in honor of the 100th Anniversary of Omicron Delta Kappa (1914-2014).
Members are invited to join us for a special keynote address on leadership and emotional intelligence by Dr. Korrel Kanoy, Professor Emerita of Psychology, immediately followed by a networking reception.
Omicron Delta Kappa, the National Leadership Honor Society, was founded in 1914 at Washington and Lee University in Lexington, VA by student and faculty leaders.
It was the first college honor society of a national scope to give recognition and honor for meritorious leadership and service in extracurricular activities and to encourage development of general campus citizenship.
Since its founding, Omicron Delta Kappa has initiated over 300,000 members. The William Peace University chapter was formed in April 2009 and includes 145 students, alumni, faculty and staff.
The ODK Centennial Celebration event is free for members, but registration is required.
