Rachel Beach Reynolds ’98 ’00 Elected Alumni Board President
The William Peace University Alumni Board slate was announced on Thursday, Sept. 20, 2012. Outgoing Alumni Board President, Rae Marie Hall Czuhai ’85, who served two terms during the time WPU transitioned to a coeducational model, now passes the gavel to incoming president, Rachel Beach Reynolds ’98 ’00.
Reynolds is a past Alumni Board member, Career Services mentor, Career Connections panelist and class committee member who helped raise funds through gifts made to The Loyalty Fund. In 2010, she was featured as Alumna of the Month by the Office of Career Services.
“I am pleased and honored to serve our current and future alumni,” Reynolds said. “As a student, choosing to attend Peace was one of the best decisions I ever made. I was challenged and empowered to grow as both a person and a leader, and the foundation I built here gave me the strength to start my own business.”
Reynolds co-owns Nextaff, a Workforce Strategies Company here in Raleigh. As a Career Mentor for WPU, Reynolds often offers advice and counseling to students and graduates in their career search.
