Fayetteville, N.C. – The USA South Athletic Conference office announced Monday the fall season sportsmanship honors. Peace College earned the award for women’s soccer, the third such honor for the Pacer soccer program and the eighth sportsmanship award received by a Peace College team.
The 2004-2005 conference Student-Athlete Advisory Committee instituted a sportsmanship award for 11 of the 14 USA South-sponsored sports. Each student-athlete votes for the team he/she considers the best representative for the season. The team garnering the most ballots receives the sport’s award. The USA South presents the Sportsmanship Trophy to the member institution earning the most team sportsmanship honors during the academic year.
First-year Pacer Chelsea Noyes earned placement on this year’s all-sportsmanship team for women’s soccer as announced in early November.
