This will give you the opportunity to meet students and faculty, tour our beautiful campus, and learn about the excellent education opportunities available at William Peace University. Stand beside historical figures in the North Carolina Museum of History, watch the Carolina Hurricanes dominate the rink at PNC Arena, or catch your favorite artist in concert at the Raleigh Amphitheater. The annual Betty Vaiden Wright Williams Christmas Concerts will take place on Monday, December 6, and Wednesday, December 8, at 7:00PM in Kenan Recital Hall.
The concerts are presented by the Peace College Chamber Singers and Choir, under the direction of Peace professor Jim Smith; accompaniment will be provided by a chamber orchestra. The Chamber Singers will present “Carols and Lullabies of the Southwest” by Conrad Susa, which will be accompanied by harp, guitar, and marimba. Other selections will include “I’ll Be Home for Christmas” and “Let It Snow,” as well as other sacred and secular repertoire. At the conclusion of the concert, the audience will join in singing Christmas carols.
