- March 12, 2014 WPU Lunch & Learn Series: Founder's Day Event A Special Day Honoring William Peace William Peace University is pleased to open to the public our annual Lunch & Learn Series. For the 2013-14 academic year, the series will feature both university faculty and visiting faculty, as well as guest researchers, lecturers and experts from across multiple majors, topics and industries. - March 12, 2014 The Vagina Monologues William Peace University is delighted to present the student-led production of "The Vagina Monologues." Directed by Emily Giangrande '15, students, faculty and staff will perform monologues in the style of Eve Ensler's original episodic play. Proceeds benefit InterAct of Wake County, a private, nonprofit United Way agency that provides safety, support, and awareness to victims and survivors of domestic violence and rape/sexual assault. InterAct also promotes violence-free relationships and communities through collaboration, public information, education, and advocacy. InterAct is the only confidential domestic violence prevention program serving Wake County's twelve municipalities. William Peace University will be closed Thursday, February 13, 2014. This includes both day and evening classes.
The Dining Hall will operate on the Sunday schedule:
Brunch: 10:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.
Dinner: 4:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.
The Wolf Creek Shuttle will not be operating.
All activities and events are canceled. Athletic games will be rescheduled; please keep up to date on the Athletics website: www.gopeacepacers.org.
If you have an internship, please follow your employer’s instructions during the time you are scheduled to work.
We will continue to monitor the weather in regards to Friday, February 14, 2014. The University will revisit Friday’s schedule as required based on conditions.
Remember, WPU’s Department of Public Safety is always on duty.
