William Peace University Teams Up With U-Haul For Car-Share Partnership
Four-Year Baccalaureate University Partners With U-Haul To Better Provide Transportation For Students
RALEIGH, N.C., Dec. 4, 2013 – William Peace University, a private four-year university located in downtown Raleigh, has officially announced a new partnership with U-Haul known as UhaulCarShare. The program allows students to easily share a car without the burden of bringing and maintaining a vehicle while attending school.
The 2012 Toyota Prius is located on campus in the Main Parking Lot, just off Peace Street, directly in front of Flowe Academic Building. Access to the vehicle is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. All that is needed to rent the car is a valid driver’s license and major credit card.
“William Peace University is excited to launch the U-Haul Car Share program on campus this fall. Car sharing programs are becoming increasingly popular on campuses across the United States because they are convenient, practical and cost-effective,” stated Carrie Draper, Executive Administrative Assistant for Communications and Marketing. “Parents of our student body can now be more confident than ever about sending their son or daughter to school without a car of their own.”
The program was first launched in September. For more information, and to rent the car, click here.
