William Peace University Ranked No.1 Nationally for Internship Program

William Peace University is one of the top universities in the country when it comes to internships. According to rankings from U.S. News & News World ReportWPU produces the largest percentage of interns.

WPU curriculum focuses on career preparedness as 100 percent of students graduate with an internship. In addition, nearly 70 percent of William Peace University graduates receive job offers directly through their internship experience, and more than 90 percent of graduates enroll in graduate school or land a job within one year of graduating. In fact, both 2013 and 2014 classes experienced a 97 percent job/graduate school placement rate.

Every 40 hours of onsite work at an internship translates to one credit hour (120 hours = 3 credit hours) and students can earn up to six credit hours through internships. Internships can be paid or unpaid and grades are awarded for each completed internship.

All internships are reviewed by William Peace University faculty to ensure goals and objectives of the position compliment the students’ learning and professional goals.
