Austin Arias

Director of Student Involvement
Austin Arias, WPU Staff member.

Originally from Tampa, Florida, Austin joined the WPU community in August 2017 after serving four years as the Assistant Dean of Students for Student & Family Engagement at The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. He is excited to help take the Office of Student Involvement to new heights and provide greater opportunities for students to make an impact.

Austin has been fortunate to work at institutions like Illinois State University, Furman University and Bradley University during his professional career. Austin is a proud member of Pi Kappa Phi Fraternity.

In his spare time, Austin enjoys traveling around the country to speak and facilitate on college campuses and for inter/national fraternities and sororities, live entertainment, spending time with friends and enjoying as much time possible with his rescue dog, Fogarty.
