Tab 4: Careers
The education major was specifically designed with help from the Wake County Public School System -- people who understand what teachers need to know and the skills they need to master. The program at William Peace University was the first education program in the state to offer the dual licensure option of preparation for both Elementary Education K-6 and Special Education: General Curriculum K-12, making program completers not only well prepared to teach but also highly marketable in a tough economy.
