Campus Activities and Clubs
The best way to become a part of the campus community is by getting involved in the campus community. Whether it's sharing a common interest, engaging in a spirited debate or just having fun, clubs and organizations at William Peace University help students explore their passions.
We offer more than 30 clubs and organizations on campus -- including student government, the Green Team, biology club and the Multicultural Association -- meaning we have something for everybody. No matter what your interest, William Peace University will help you find a group of people who share your passions.

Giving back to your community can be an extremely rewarding experience and a great way to get involved.
William Peace University students volunteer thousands of hours annually to the greater Raleigh community. From one-shot opportunities like working in a soup kitchen or helping clean up a local park to longer-term projects with regular hours, WPU can help you find the right way for you to serve your community.
You might have even seen WPU students in action. WPU students, faculty and staff volunteered when ABC's Extreme Home Makeover came to Raleigh.
Feeling a little competitive? Whether you're just trying to break a sweat or trying to keep your hoop dreams alive, William Peace University offers intramural sports leagues for all interest levels. We have one-day tournaments and multi-week seasons in individual and team sports. We utilize IMLeagues, a specialized sports site for intramural sports that keeps track of your team and individual statistics. Our students use this site to sign up for tournaments, join teams and watch the brackets!
Academic Honor Societies:
Academic Honor Societies are a great way to stay involved, celebrate academic achievements and take learning beyond the classroom. Plus, they look great on a resume. Students can choose from a variety of prestigious honor societies including Alpha Chi, Psi Chi, Omicron Delta Kappa and Sigma Delta Pi.
Feel like sharing your talent with the world? Can you sing, dance or act? Are you interested in learning?
William Peace University offers you the chance to take your talents to the next level. Check out the performance groups here on campus, from the Peace Singers, WPU Theatre and the Cheer and Drill Collaboration.
Students don't even have to leave campus to find opportunities to grow as writers. WPU offers several student-run publications including the Prism for creative writing and The Peace Times newspaper. Each publication has a staff advisor to help and offer guidance.
