First-Year Students

WPU is your home away from home, a dynamic and diverse learning community.

Congrats on taking the next big step in your life! At WPU, you’ll feel at home. That’s because we look for more in our students than just good grades. Your application is your chance to show us that you’re more than just a score. We want to hear your ideas, passions and perspectives.

We know that applying to colleges can feel a little overwhelming at times – but we’re here to help. We’ve broken everything down into easy-to-follow steps, found below.

Application Requirements

  • WPU has simplified the application process to be more holistic and inclusive of student strengths and accomplishments.
  • Students have the choice to submit SAT/ACT scores or to showcase their individual strengths in other ways.
  • Rolling Admissions – We do not have an admissions deadline, though we encourage you to apply by May 1 for the easiest transition to university.
