2021 Letter from Advancement

November 8, 2021

Alumni & Friends,

If courage doesn’t jump out to you in this year’s Impact Report posts, then we have missed our intent.

The last year has provided an opportunity for our Peace community to recognize that during adversity and challenge, courage and confidence emerge.  We have adapted, we have changed but most of all we have grown stronger.

We have created our tomorrow, today.

Excel

While navigating a world influenced by COVID-19, William Peace University faculty and staff have risen to meet these challenges and continue to advance our mission. Together, we have provided students with rich learning experiences. Recently, the University was awarded for its effort as it was ranked 30th out of 125 in the Regional Colleges: South category by U.S. News and World Report. Additionally, The University was noted as a 2021 College of Distinction by the organization of the same name.

Engage

Our educational opportunities have increased through your support and through the commitment of community partners. This Fall, Peace launched two new bachelor’s degree programs: Interactive Design and ESports and Gaming Administration, complementing WPU’s 30+ other majors. Along with this, the University entered a partnership with Meredith College to create an accelerated program for students seeking both an undergraduate degree and a Master of Business Administration degree in Raleigh.

Endure

I am excited to introduce this year’s Impact Report. The 2021 Impact Report showcases how our University, students, faculty, and staff have courageously contributed to our community’s success and our world—largely, in part, due to you.

This publication is a celebration of our success, but more importantly, it is a celebration of you and the vital support that your contributions provide. Together, we build upon their courage and develop the confidence needed to turn passion into purpose. Here’s to Peace as we march, with confidence and courage, through the rest of the year.

With Peace,

Jodi Y. Stamey, MBA, CFRE
Vice President for University Advancement
