The athletic department is coming off a very successful Spring 2021 semester. Every team was able to compete and four of our teams qualified for Divisional Championship contests in the USA South Athletic Conference. The Pacers will continue to build upon that success when we return for the Fall 2021 semester. The athletic department will continue to follow NCAA COVID safety guidelines as it pertains to testing. On August 4th, the NCAA released the 2021 Fall Training and Competition guidelines. A few key highlights

  • All in-season, unvaccinated  student-athletes must be tested 3x a week on non-consecutive days.
  • For vaccinated student-athletes, there will be no testing unless symptomatic. We strongly encourage all of our student -athletes to become vaccinated prior to the start of the school year. Be advised that all unvaccinated student-athletes who are actively participating in their sports season will be subject to quarantine if a teammate tests positive for COVID.
  • Vaccinated students will be allowed to continue to participate if a teammate tests positive for COVID.  However, vaccinated student athletes will be antigen tested for COVID by the Wellness Center and Athletic Department within 3-5 days after a teammate tests positive./li>
