    THE ARTS

    • Craft Your Unique Artistic Identity

Today’s artists do not have to be bound by a single label. Our comprehensive B.A. IN INTERDISCIPLINARY (IDA) program blurs conventional boundaries by challenging students to explore intersecting identities while crafting well-rounded artistic identities.

    • EXPLORE the Arts

IDA students develop creative and technical skills by tailoring their degree to their personal interests from various topics spanning the VISUAL ARTS (art, game, film, media) and the PERFORMING ARTS (dance, music, theatre).

    • EXAMINE the Arts

Our IDA program reflects crucial values necessary in contemporary society. IDA students navigate the essences of humanity and cultures from ancient history to the present day by examining the ongoing evolution of artistic expression and creative storytelling.

    • EXPERIENCE the Arts

Our immersive IDA program takes students beyond the classroom and into the vibrant creative community at the soul of a metropolitan city. Our historic campus sits in the heart of downtown Raleigh surrounded by North Carolina’s premiere arts institutions and experiences. Additionally, we regularly after national and international arts-related trips.
