GoRaleigh GoPass Bus Program Coming for All Students, Faculty and Staff in Fall 2018

February 1, 2018
WPU students have the unique opportunity to live and attend college in downtown Raleigh

William Peace University is pleased to announce it is in the process of completing an agreement with the City of Raleigh to offer the GoRaleigh GoPass program to all traditional undergraduate students, faculty and staff beginning in fall 2018.

The GoRaleigh GoPass program allows students the ability to travel anywhere within the city of Raleigh on the GoRaleigh bus route. Whether you want to take a course through the Cooperating Raleigh Colleges (CRC), visit friends at other universities, or shop at Cameron Village or Crabtree Valley Mall, you can get there using the city transit buses without paying out of pocket for the ride.

William Peace University is serviced by:

  • Bus Route 1, which can take students to Capital Square Shopping Center, Triangle Town Center (where connections can be made to other bus routes)
  • Bus Route 2 which takes students to Five Points, Holly Park Shopping Center, Duke Raleigh Hospital, Quail Corners Shopping Center, North Ridge Shopping Center and Bent Tree Plaza
  • Bus Route 3 which can take students downtown and to the GoRaleigh Station where connections to other routes can be made
  • Bus Route 12 which serves Cameron Village, North Carolina State University, Meredith College and McKimmon Center

The GoRaleigh GoPass Program is available to all students and is included in the price of tuition. More information about obtaining a GoRaleigh GoPass swipe card will be communicated to students, faculty and staff at the beginning of the fall semester.
