#PeopleOfPeace: WPU Welcomes New Faculty Members to Campus for Fall 2018
William Peace University prides itself in bringing exceptional and talented new faculty to campus. With fall semester underway, please join us in welcoming our new faculty members to the WPU community.
“In our commitment to providing high-quality education to our students, we’re happy to welcome four new full-time faculty to the William Peace University family this year: Rebecca Bagley, Anthony Biasello, Harry Lusic, and Ruth Reece,” said Dr. Charlie Duncan, Vice President for Academic Affairs. “They’re each delighted to join our already-outstanding faculty and look forward to working with and mentoring our Peace students.”
Rebecca Bagley, MFA
Assistant Professor of Communication
Rebecca Bagley grew up in the mountains of upstate New York and after digging out of snow for most of her life she decided to move to North Carolina to finish up her bachelors degree. A few years later, she went back up north to Philadelphia to earn her Masters of Fine Arts in Graphic and Interactive Design at the Tyler School of Art at Temple University. Rebecca has been illustrating since a young age and when she heard about graphic design, she knew it was the best career for her because it encompasses so many things: illustration, layout, typography, photography and motion.
She currently resides in Pittsboro, NC with her husband, daughter and her cat. She loves to research all things related to graphic design, and spends her spare time illustrating for children’s books, travelling, hiking and drawing with her daughter, Olive.
“The WPU campus is small and beautiful and I feel a true sense of community here.”
