WPU Ranked Top 25 Best Bachelor’s in Analytics for 2020
William Peace University has once again proven to be one of the best choices students can make in higher education. The University was ranked in the Top 25 Best Bachelor’s in Analytics for 2020 by the Bachelor’s Degree Center for its Bachelor’s in Business Analytics – the only North Carolina institution to do so.
BDC ranked schools based on practical value, weighing their typical alumni salary, job-market reputation and tuition cost. According to BDC, WPU’s Bachelor’s of Science in Business Analytics prepares students for the rigors of a technologically advanced career path. Emphasizing the use of analytical tools and technology, the program helps students develop effective models and predictions and teaches them how to best use different tools to gather information, evaluate data and clarify possible outcomes based on statistics.
The ranking comes as the field of Business Analytics continues to grow at a rapid pace, with IBM predicting the number of data analytics job openings in the U.S. to increase from 364,000 to 2.72 million in 2020. And, according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, employment of management analysts – including business analysts – is expected to grow 14 percent from 2018 to 2028, which is much faster than the average for all occupations.
Students who pursue a degree in Business Analytics at WPU can expect an impressive curriculum that prepares them to use data, statistical and quantitative analysis in measuring past performance to guide their future organization’s business planning. Upon graduation, students can choose from a variety of professions and fields, from data scientist to corporate strategist.
