William Peace University is excited to announce it has become the only Triangle institution to offer a RN to BSN program through its School of Professional Studies (SPS). Beginning January 2019, registered nurses who hold an associates degree in nursing can earn their bachelors degree with flexible class schedules at an affordable rate.

This SPS program is designed for nontraditional students who need flexibility in scheduling due to existing job and family commitments – including nontraditional work hours. Nurses will benefit from a mix of on-campus, online, and on-site courses at partner hospitals such as Wake Med and UNC Rex Healthcare, making for a unique learning experience offered nowhere else in the Triangle Region. In addition, there is a 25% discount for Wake Med & UNC Rex Healthcare employees.

As an RN, earning a BSN can help you broaden your understanding of the nursing field and expand your potential career opportunities into leadership and specialized nursing positions. With six start dates throughout the year, you can build a personalized track and take classes either part time or full time. Transfer up to 90 credits, which means you could potentially earn a BSN in as little as 12 months.

“We are excited to be creating partnerships with high quality health care organizations throughout Raleigh to help them excel at their work of serving those in need.”

Professor of Nursing/RN to BSN Program Director. “The RN to BSN program at WPU will provide each student with support and personalized attention to ensure a quality education. Here at WPU, we want to serve the local nurses so they can attain their BSN in a supportive and convenient setting.”

The program has been created with students’ work schedules in mind so they can work on their degree at their own pace. This program is for RNs who are dedicated to the profession and are seeking education to further their careers in leadership, advanced practice, research, healthcare informatics, as well as the many paths open to the nursing profession.WPU is partnering with UNC REX for an RN to BSN
