September 29, 2017

The awards keep rolling in for WPU. The University is proud to announce it was named to the 2017 list of “Top 50 Best Places to Work” (BPTW) in the Triangle. WPU placed #13th overall in the category “Large Companies” and was the only university named to the overall list. The accolade was made official at a ceremony hosted by the Triangle Business Journal (TBJ) on Friday, September 22, where University faculty and staff members, including President Brian C. Ralph, Ph.D., took the stage to accept this prestigious award.

“Our dedicated employees have spoken, and said we are a great place to work and grow as a professional. It’s because of the great #PeopleofPeace, that we are able to cultivate a transformative and educational life experience for each other and our students.”

“When you look at the caliber of companies and organizations that were selected to this list, along with the many entries, this speaks volumes to why our University is such a great place to not only pursue an education, but also a meaningful career,” said Dr. Brian C. Ralph, Ph.D., President of William Peace University. “Our dedicated employees have spoken, and said we are a great place to work and grow as a professional. It’s because of the great #PeopleofPeace, that we are able to cultivate a transformative and educational life experience for each other and our students.”

“The BPTW event was an amazing experience both as a member of the Peace community and as a working professional,” said Kevin Daniels, Interim Director of Athletics, who attended the event. “It gave me a sense of pride in where I am and what I’m doing with William Peace University. To be the only higher educational institution represented there says a lot about the culture that we, because of our leadership, are building here.”
