January 4, 2022

William Peace University classes resume on Jan. 12, and we are looking forward to seeing our Pacers back on campus. Families should note the following protocols:

  • Initial Testing for return to campus – All unvaccinated students will be required to report to the Wellness Center for testing before accessing campus. Walk-in testing is open from 3 to 7 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 9, and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Jan. 10 and 11.
  • Vaccinated students are encouraged to get tested before returning to campus as an extra layer of protection for themselves and the community.
  • Ongoing Testing – Unvaccinated students are required to undergo regular testing.
  • Masks – The City of Raleigh and Wake County remain under an indoor mask mandate. William Peace University will continue to adhere to this rule.

WPU encourages employees and students to get vaccinated; vaccines are readily available at health departments and pharmacies. The CDC also recommends booster shots for those who have already received both doses of the vaccine. Those are also readily available. Learn more about boosters and how to get your shot.
